Say this never ends,
Say this cycle continues on forever,
Would this be enough?
Say our paths never cross again,
Say at the end of the day you hate me,
Would you think about me, like I you?
I like to think our paths are intricately intertwined,
But who knows?
Say we tumble off a cliff,
Say we fall an impossible distance into the ether,
Would you trust me to catch you?
Would you trust me to hoist you back up, like you did me?
Say this cycle never ends,
Say we continue to consume, and nothing more,
Would I be enough for you?
Would I consume your world, like you have mine?
