Troy Needs a Hobby

Summary:

Troy, the Centaurs' most boring player (yes, more boring than Hollander) needs to find a hobby.

Chapter Text

The last thing Troy expected to find while tidying the hall closet on a whim was a crisis of self-doubt scribbled on a half-sheet of paper.

Boodram — BBQ
Dyskra — Outdoor stuff
Hayes — Comic books
Rozanov — Cars
Haas — Art
Barrett — ???
Hollander — Workout?

The note must have fallen from the pocket of one of Harris's jackets. It was relatively recent, judging by the addition of Hollander, but the faded graphite smudges and various inks suggested it was an ongoing list.

None of that really mattered, though.

The three question marks beside his name were the problem.

How fucking boring was he?

When Harris arrived home later, Troy shoved the note he'd been obsessing over all afternoon in his pocket.

He stood and met Harris in the kitchen, wrapping his boyfriend in a tight hug and kissing his cheek.

Harris leaned back against Troy's chest.

“How was your day?”

“Fine. Yours?”

Harris sighed. “I filmed another episode of Hazy's Heroes. Did you know there used to be...”

Troy barely listened as Harris described his day. His shitty mood made it impossible to enjoy this time with his boyfriend.

Why did Harris spend so much time with someone who had nothing interesting to offer?
