    Then, he wakes up, cradled in his mother's arms, looking at the blurry faces of his parents, as Fugaku proudly names him Itachi.

Only, this time, with Odin's blessing and the clear demand that Loki should marry a form of Earth Royalty to 'strengthen the alliance between Earth and Asgard' (yeah, right. Tony recognised a time out when he saw one).

    Every government in the world puts forward their royals - or the closest things they have to royalty - because of course who wouldn't want the special benefits of having such a powerful alien race as their in laws?
