AWESOME FIC - steve is a lab kid who they was thought to be an unsucessful test, but he has empathy powers. He remebers being in the hospital a lot as a kid, but thought it was just because he had like cancer or something. He struggles to adjust to normal school(middle school), but eventually figures it out. He is CONVINCED that everyone has the same level of empathy as him and Dustin keeps trying to convince him he has super powers. He has powers, but just thinks its normal.

The ground shook and split as ash rained from the sky. It was over. Vecna had won. The slippery bastard had beaten them at their own game.
And then Steve was somehow back in his bedroom. No explanation, no warning. He had no idea how he ended up back in ‘83, but by god he had three years to try and change the tide and he wasn’t going to waste them. And hell, maybe he'll get to that whole 'thrown back in time' thing eventually.
This is a fair warning to anyone who wants to read. I haven’t actually watched the first two seasons in years and never put myself through three and four. Love Robin and Eddie and Erika but it’s just not the same. So if you see something and say hey wait a minute that’s not how it- shh. Hush. Silence.
