Summary
When Mahal himself offers to send Thorin back to the start of the quest to save the line of Durin, he is determined to make amends for all of the mistakes he made the first time around.
When Bilbo wakes up in Bag End eighty years in the past, all he knows is that he has somehow been given the chance to see his beloved dwarves again and he'll be damned if he doesn't take it.
Both dwarf and hobbit are desperate to prevent the quest from ending in tragedy, but neither will be able to do it on their own. They'll need to work together if they want to keep the entire Company alive and whole --but first they need to realize that they are not alone in their efforts, and they have to stop getting in each other's way at every turn they make.
Hopefully, they'll learn some things this time that they failed to learn before. And maybe, just maybe, they'll find their happy ending that both have been yearning for.

Resumo:
Quando o próprio Mahal se oferece para enviar Thorin de volta ao início da missão para salvar a linhagem de Durin, ele está determinado a reparar todos os erros que cometeu na primeira vez.Quando Bilbo acordar em Bolsão, oitenta anos atrás, tudo que ele sabe é que de alguma forma ele teve a chance de ver seus amados anões novamente e ele será amaldiçoado se não aceitar.
Ambos anões e hobbits estão desesperados para evitar que a missão termine em tragédia, mas nenhum deles será capaz de fazer isso por conta própria. Eles precisarão trabalhar juntos se quiserem manter toda a empresa viva e íntegra - mas primeiro eles precisam perceber que não estão sozinhos em seus esforços e têm que parar de atrapalhar um ao outro a cada curva que fazem .
Esperançosamente, eles aprenderão algumas coisas que não aprenderam antes. E talvez, apenas talvez, eles encontrem o final feliz pelo qual ambos ansiavam.
