Adrien has been masking his real self around his father intensely after screwing something up. he is trying too hard to be the perfect son. so much, that when he needs to transform again, he no longer can transform into chat noir. the only one who appears is cat walker.
unfortunately, gabriel decided it was the perfect day to show his son it was him behind the moth mask all this time, as he just found out Adrien has a miraculous.
of course, being the mastermind he is, he counts on Adrien transforming into chat as soon as he sees him wielding the Moth before akumatizing him.chat noir is no longer the one to show up, but cat walker. still gabriel doesn't want to waste more time, and works with what he has. only thing is, maybe an akumatized cat walker can even be more dangerous than cat blanc himself. while blanc is running amok, completely unbalanced and about to lose his mind, cat walker is already there, only that just in the inside.
ladybug doesn't think she could have ever been more terrified of anything than chat blanc, but *insert cat walker's akuma name* just proved her wrong

Queen Bee moves faster and snatches the Peacock miraculous from Mayura in Miraculer before taunting her instead of after. Then she use Venom while Nathalie is recovering from the loss of her miraculous because she recognizes that Nathalie is still a threat (her fighting ability as seen in Felix is surely not unknown to Chloé).
Then she detransforms to feed Pollen and transforms using Duusuu, who has not used his special power. Initially, the villains are elated and the heroes are disheartened to see a peacock wielder joining the fight. Of course, it quickly becomes obvious that "Mayura" is too short and that the body she is carrying has dark colored hair and clothes, not Chloé's white and yellow.
Ooooo, ooooooooooo, I know! Make the summary a brief recap of the Bee/Bird battle from canon and say that in this story, "The outcome is a little different." Then begin the story with her return to the main battle as described above and let the readers discover that it's Chloé wielding the Peacock along with the characters. Show their battle in flashbacks, and/or Chloé can narrate it to the team.
Anyway, dumping Nathalie's paralyzed body on the rooftop takes all the fight out of the Agrestes as they realize the implications. Hawkmoth's departure, of course, leaves Miraculer isolated, and she is soon defeated, similar to canon. The whole team acting together somewhat masks Cat Noir's sudden passivity.
Alya is a little slower than Nino and Marinette to recognize Nathalie and realize what that probably tells them about Hawkmoth's identity, while Chloé had figured it out before she returned.
LB and QB figure out CN's identity and go to comfort him. Your call whether any other identities come out. I guess how long it took you to get to this point will determine whether they merely express a determination to take down Gabriel or actually plan and/or execute a takedown.

Summary
After a graduating from collége, Alya decides to casually take up kickboxing at her older sister's gym. It's a great way to get a workout and it makes Nora feel better— her little sister will be able to protect herself, after all. It goes well the first several months, especially after Nino decides he ought to join her. They train together in the beginning.
It's all fine for a while, but eventually, they aren't novices anymore. Nino and Alya have different training needs and go their own path. Even so, they'll sometimes spar against each other for fun. When they do, it's normally no big deal, but one day it's... not. It's distracting for Alya especially, as her boyfriend starts filling out and growing into himself. He hasn't ever been slight, but the training is really starting to show, and she's noticing. Lots of flirting ensues.
Basically, Nora regrets recommending that her sister practice with someone who's (she recognizes VERY begrudingly) out of her weight class, for practice, just in case. And regrets even more that she offered to be their ref today; her friends had dodged the responsibility and now she knows why. Totally gross. She's never doing it again, if she can help it.
(For the optional tags, I wanted to add "IMPLIED serial tension," but it wouldn't let me. The tension is very light.)

Kagami and Luka are incredibly suspicious of each other, but once they realize that they are allies -not obstacles- to getting Adrien and Marinette together they team up.
Too bad the biggest obstacle to adrinette are themselves (*coughmarinettecough*), to their great frustration. But, maybe along the way they'll discover they have more in common than just their oblivious friends.

Marinette and Adrien end up being separated from Tikki and Plagg after defeating an Akuma and a child mistakes Tikki and Plagg for stuffed animals.
(They were in a large crowd where both got bumped and caused Tikki and Plagg to fall off their person where a child snatched them up and jumped on a train to another part of Paris)
Marinette and Adrien need to team up to find their friends without revealing the true reason they need their "special lost item" back.
Meanwhile, Tikki and Plagg are dealing with an excitable child who demands they play house with them as the mommy and daddy. They try to escape but it's a difficult process.
It's up to the writer of this leads to a reveal or not by the end of the story.

Summary
Nino has a wild dream where he's Super Penguino Dude and he has to save Princess Alya from the clutches of King Leopard Seal. He journies through different settings, fights a bunch of minions, and gets a power-up or several. Nino's most of the way to the Princess when things get dicey and he's on the verge of defeat. While Nino is in the midst of this epic adventure, Alya has no intentions of sitting around. She does some reconnaissance and out-wits King Leopard Seal, successfully hatching her escape and heading home to her Super Dude. After Alya's escape, we cut back to Nino and Alya is there to save him before he can meet his demise. Unfortunately, King Leopard Seal learns he's been duped not long after Alya escapes and sends more minions after them. Nino and Alya can't hide forever, so it's clear the only solution is King Leopard Seal's defeat. The lovers let themselves get captured— well, Nino let's Alya get captured.

Nino follows the minions to King Leopard Seal's elusive moving castle and sneaks around until he can discover the King's plot and his weaknesses. (Turns out, Alya's magic is special and the King wants to extract it from her. Too bad his extracting machine has four specific, obvious weak points that only need a little bashing to render the entire machination useless!) Once that's done, Nino reveals himself and fights the King. Victory, a kiss, sparks flying, then a mad parrrtaaayyy!!
Then Nino wakes up.
(The story doesn't start with him falling asleep, you just begin with Alya getting kidnapped as if it's a part of the real universe.)
It's up to the author if Nino's friends join him on his quest, but Nino and Alya remain the main characters. Most of the story is from Nino's POV (3rd person non-omniscient). The world and magic systems are obviously heavily inspired by Super Mario Bros, but it doesn't have to be exact. Also, Penguino Dude and Leopard Seal could just be titles, the characters don't actually have to be those animals; whatever the author can work with best.

It's Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste's wedding day!
It's also another day for the new butterfly and peacock miraculous villains (Lila & Chloé respectively) to attack Paris.
Mari and Adrien decide that instead of ditching their wedding for an unsaid amount of time, they will do what all good leaders do: delegate!
Zoé is the first person who knows Ladybug's identity Mari can find (Alya is temporarily unavailable for plot reasons :D) so she's the person Mari chooses. Felix is the only person Adrien trusts (Nino and co are unavailable with Alya for plot reasons) so he chooses Felix (mind you, he is unaware that his cousin is an ex-accomplice of his mortal enemy, AKA, his father).
Anyway, Ladybug!Zoé and BlackCat!Felix, due to lack of experience, have a harder time taking on Mr. Pigeon than the regular heroes do, especially with his new sentimonster, Pigeon Jr (a giant pigeon). As they run around chasing the bird man and the giant bird, they fight, chat, flirt and grow closer to become friends... and maybe more...
