For all intents and purposes, Lee could confidently say that he was rather unextraordinary.
Unremarkable in every respect.
Born without chakra, born without a purpose...there wasn't much to say about him, and even less to remember.
Which is probably why the day he disappeared...no one looked for him.
He couldn't blame them, he didn't blame them. How could he?
It wasn't their fault he was like this, after all.
That's why he was grateful.
Grateful to those that were kind enough to grant him purpose, to give him strength, to put up with him when no one else would.

Their weapon.
Their punching bag.
Anything that they needed him to be.
For them, he knew, he'd become their monster.
