Summary
Ulaz is a medical professional on a Galra warship, but he has another role, both more important and far more secret: he's a spy. As a physician, he takes a medical interest in the arena's most renowned alien gladiator. As a spy, he considers this warrior's possible use to the resistance.
Yet as time passes, Ulaz's involvement with his patient grows, until it is no longer purely professional.
Ulaz is always thinking ahead, but what he doesn't expect is that the gladiator will also take an interest in him.
[Written for Shiro Week 2017, for the prompt Break/Mend, which obviously suggested a Doctor Ulaz AU to me. (I meant for this to be a gen one-shot, but I failed miserably on both counts, mea culpa.)]

Summary
The Castle of Lions is on Arus, and there's a Galra warship heading toward the planet. The Voltron Team has only four paladins and four lions, which is why Shiro's glad to hear that there are actually five bayards on the ship. But the Black Bayard is not what Shiro was expecting—and presents him with new challenges.

Shiro looks above Sir's head, confused “I’m here,” he tries, but he remembers that he had said this before and it hadn’t worked. Still doesn’t know what else to say.
“No. But you’re trying.” Sir’s voice trembles, and it seems to mean something he can’t understand.[Or the third part into the Mind Controlled!Shiro AU. Where things actually get a little better.]

Keith looks up at the silver sky, at the worn jacket Shiro clenches close, at the shaky hands shoved into deep pockets to keep warm. “My name is Keith, and I know that doesn’t mean anything to you right now, but someday you’re going to be someone very important to me.” He sighs and tightens his grip on Shiro’s shoulder, leather soft beneath his fingertips. “You already are, and you’re the only reason I’m not lost right now.”
“I don’t understand,” Shiro tells him because he doesn’t know what else to say.
Keith only cocks his head and smiles. “I’m lost in time, Shiro. And… well, you’ve always been my guiding light, I guess.”
