Summary

Summary
Jiang Cheng lived 17 years his entire life thinking he was a Beta. His brother had presented on the very day of his 16th birthday as an Alpha, joining the ranks of the top and most coveted individuals in the cultivation world, whilst his own had passed uneventfully, sealing his fate as an ordinary cultivator. As his 17th birthday passed, he grew to accept that this was yet another way in which he would be inferior to Wei Wuxian - his cultivation, his archery skills, his musicality and now even in his secondary gender.
But the moment the Wens attacked Lotus Pier and razed it to the ground, everything changed.

At the end of everything, Jiang Cheng is somehow given a second chance at the disaster that had been his life. This time he will not be the one left behind as everyone he loves falls into darkness. He is sick of being saved; this time he will be the one to save them. He will use his knowledge and his strength -- and yes, his cruelty and his heartlessness if he has to -- and he will save every last one of them.
After all, he is Sandu Shengshou.
