    Quirkless Izuku never went to UA and never became a hero.
    After graduating from a mediocre high school he ends up moving to Fukuoka where he has a crappy job and his apartment is even worse but it does happen to be right under one of Hawks’ favorite flight paths to and from his agency so he gets to see the hero fly overhead at least once a day.
    Then one day a villain fight occurs and he ends up rescuing one of Hawks’ sidekicks, The Jet Black Hero, helping him take down a villain.

    There’s a nudge at his hand, a careful tap that finally makes him look up for the first time since they got there. Evan wipes his face hastily, trying to sniffle up the water in his eyes before anyone can see. He doesn’t want to cry, but sometimes he just can’t help it.

    Because that’s his brother. That’s his big brother, in a hospital bed, with dark smudges under his eyes and a really bad cough that keeps getting worse, but he’s smiling at Evan like it’s all going to be okay.

    All Evan heard was the machine. He counted the sounds, hoarded them, and wished he could just sit there and listen to the proof of his brother’s heart beating forever.

      When Evan Buckley is six months old he saves his brother with a bone marrow transplant. He does it multiple times throughout his childhood, and it always seems to be working. For a little while. Then he turns seven, and his parents demand that he give Daniel a kidney and part of his liver, and Evan really doesn't want to do it anymore. He is a kid too. CPS intervenes and Buck ends up in foster care. Changing homes every few months whenever his parents break the no-contact order. Until one day they stop-

      He finds his way to Minnesota, and as fate would have it, he meets Bobby Nash after an apartment fire that took away his last chance at being adopted. When Bobby tries to make things right, he ends up taking Buck with him to Los Angeles.
