“Huh”, Peter marvelled softly, head tilted to the side, akin to that of a puppy as he watched the sun bathe the piano in a gorgeous, warm light, bringing out the beautiful staining and intricate carving even more if that was possible. “I like it better here”, he murmured, fingers twitching as he continued to stare at it.
“Yeah?” Tony hummed, arms uncrossing to throw one around Peter’s shoulder, ruffling his short curls as he did so. “Me too, the lighting in the penthouse didn’t do it any favours. It looked good, but now it looks like it actually belongs.”
“I know what you mean”, Peter nodded, clenching his hand into a fist and settling his head on Tony’s shoulder. “Did you ever end up learning how to play, Dad?”
“No, bud”, he murmured, reaching out with his left hand to tap one of the keys, Peter cringing at how out of tune it was, Tony nodding in agreement.
Or
Peter plays the piano; Tony just doesn't know it yet. And playing fixes something inside of him.

Summary
Jason landed, hard.
He gasped in a breath and tried to shake free of the dizzying disorientation as he pushed himself up on shaking arms. The world swooped violently and he fell back down, jarring his chin on the rough ground. He closed his eyes against the nauseating swaying before he threw up.
He swallowed harshly, forced the rising bile back down, and took slow, deep breaths. Just like Slade had shown him. He could practically hear the man’s voice in his head, as gruff and impatient as always.
Orientate yourself, Jason. Find a weapon. Get somewhere defensible. Kill anyone in your way. Recon.
He nodded along to the remembered instructions and forced himself to stand. He stumbled drunkenly for his first few steps but he wouldn't let anything stop him. Not ever again. Definitely not some stupid fucking dizziness.
He staggered across the rough grain of the rooftop he had landed on. New York’s skyline stared at him across the East River.
How the fuck had he ended up in Brooklyn?
Fuck.
He had to find Slade — he, at least, would know what to do.

Fuck.“God damnit. I fucking hate magic.” Peter groaned as he picked himself up from the ground before turning to Miles and offering his hand. Miles muttered a thanks as he used Peter’s hand to pull himself up, dusting himself off and looking up to take in his surroundings.

It had only taken Peter about thirty minutes (of time not screaming out in pain and terror as his body pulled itself apart into a brightly colored conglomerate of molecules, something he did not want to think about) for Peter to figure out a few very important things about his situation.
1. Peter Parker was currently in a universe incredibly different from his own.
2. Peter Parker should under no circumstances interact with anyone running around dressed as some sort of bat or bird.
