Summary
Memory is the faculty of the mind by which data or information is encoded, stored, and retrieved when needed. It is the retention of information over time for the purpose of influencing future action. If past events could not be remembered, it would be impossible for language, relationships, or personal identity to develop. Memory loss is usually described as forgetfulness or amnesia.
Human cloning is the creation of a genetically identical copy (or clone) of a human. The term is generally used to refer to artificial human cloning, which is the reproduction of human cells and tissue. It does not refer to the natural conception and delivery of identical twins. The possibility of human cloning has raised controversies. These ethical concerns have prompted several nations to pass laws regarding human cloning.
While many games readily fall into a clear, well-understood definition of video games, new genres and innovations in game development have raised the question of what are the essential factors of a video game that separate the medium from other forms of entertainment.

Summary
Gordon Freeman has a pretty stable life. He wakes up, makes coffee and gets ready for work, gets on the tram and finishes his coffee.
He bothers Benrey, tries (and fails) to sneak past Dr. Coolatta in the break room, checks to see if Harold or his new lab assistant, Burgundy, need anything done.
He goes home, works a little more on reports or plays Tekken with anyone who'll join, and then he goes to bed again. And then he gets chosen to conduct the Xen Sample experiment. That's fine. It just means he spends less time with his research partner and his mentor while he gets used to the HEV suit.
And then he gets chosen to be something's marionette. That one... that one's a little harder to reconcile.

Summary
Joshua Freeman– yes, Freeman like in Half-Life, haha, shut the fuck up– has a routine. He's kind of struggling with it, since he almost got sent home and everything shut down for a bit there, but he's, uhhhhh... managing?
He does his homework in the morning, goes to class in the afternoon, attends the virtual classes in the later afternoon, works in the evening, collapses into bed. Rinse, repeat, throw in some video calls with Professor Luna or movie analysis with Tin or downloading whatever super fucking sketchy game Fuentes sent his way as needed.
Until one of those super fucking sketchy games has real-ass people in it that care about him and kill him and suddenly Joshua is herding cats. And just as suddenly, he isn't. Because the game ended.
What. The fuck.

Summary
Benrey has a Routine and a Schedule, like a big important serious person, with order. And stuff. It's very important. They wake up Josh for his afternoon shift, they guard the doors with Jefferem and keep sciences from stealing, and then they walk around being hall monitor until the little bells go off and they can go to the Anomalous Guard Dorms to play video games. Unless Jefferem's broken the console again. Then he goes to Tommy's Black Mesa Dorms and chills.
(Sometimes, they visit Gordon and watch Star Trek with him. Benrey knows all the TV passwords because they're best friends.)
The worst part about having a routine is when it gets broken.
