Her Pokemon are out and playing with her(they're trying not to get her killed), the wild Pokemon seem to be in a better mood than ever (her Zoroark is constantly looming behind her and threatening anything that thinks of hurting her), and she's getting so much better at climbing!! (her Sneasler is constantly assisting her)

Purple lived alone. That was how she liked it. Because when she was alone, no one could see her doing things she otherwise wouldn't be caught dead doing. Usually, the times where she got quiet and went around on unsteady legs and sung effigies of her parents into existence didn't sneak up on her. She knew when they were going to happen. And because she knew, she could avoid others during them and take care of herself as she needed to.
But the keyword in that sentence was usually.
