The walls are starting to close in for the Lackadaisy and Marigolds alike, and both are feeling the pressure. With the Lackadaisy practically miles behind their opponent, all is starting to seem lost. But, things can still get a lot worse. And maybe, if everyone plays their cards right, a lot better.

The Lackadaisy not only survived, but emerged ascendant from the chaos of 1927, enjoying a subsequent period of stability and prosperity. Now, the whole business model appears shaky, notwithstanding new authority and competition. To survive, things will have to change for good this time.
