Summary
Sebastian Moran had a choice to make, one night after Jim nearly killed the woman he had replaced him with: Molly Hooper. She was in no position to deny Jim what he wanted, which was usually her body, but one night he went too far and Sebastian was sent to deal with the aftermath. He chose to protect Molly, whatever it took, and he switched his allegiances from Jim to Mycroft. After helping Sherlock from the shadows as Sherlock went to take down Jim's criminal empire, he settled into keeping Molly safe from a distance.
Unfortunately, or maybe not, his plans to let her move onto Holmes and live a life free of him and Jim and all that didn't go quite the way he had hoped they would...
