Summary
Ryland Grace has been living in the human-friendly bio-dome on Erid for a human month. But with Rocky being busy with other work most of the time, the Eridian scientists start to wonder if maybe they should let him socialize more. Adrian knows a bit about Ryland, and Ryland knows a bit about Adrian, so the decision is made to let Rocky introduce the two and see if Adrian could be the one to keep the human stable until the dome is stable enough to let him freely socialize.

It’s been just over 600 (eridian) years since Rocky left. The crew was assumed dead long ago; the mission, declared a failure. But when a dim light reads on the petrovascopes, it’s all Adrian can do not to cry out in joy. The whole planet is carapace-deep in celebration…until they realise that — oh, goodness — that’s not the original ship; and they get word that everything has gone so, so terribly wrong.

LOG ENTRY DAY 1
Hello there! To be honest this entry will be just a test one. It's the first day after landing on Erid, following three and a half months of orbiting around the planet itself. They prepared a whole dome-like building just for me, so I wouldn't burn to death upon arriving. It’s still a bit warm for my taste, I’d say about 23-26 degrees celsius. Ah... What else is there to say… Oh boy, I’m so overwhelmed right now and happy. I got some alone time to settle in, but I should go back in a few minutes. There are still a lot of tests waiting for me. Okay… Signing off for today.
