She had lived with him throughout his whole life, being with him every step of the way. But when a figure from Izzie's past returns, Akshan is forced to protect her, all while struggling to differentiate Izzie's feelings from his own.

With the Ruination over, the world has been saved...and Akshan should be celebrating, feeling like a hero, but...he doesn’t feel like one. As much good as he has done, Akshan is still struggling to cope with his teacher’s death as well as now having to deal with the fact that he completely ruined another’s drive to live. Can he fix the mess he made? Or, will he be left to try to continue with the guilt that weighs on his shoulders?
Note: This is my rewritten version of the Ruination story ending where Viego is turned human instead of left in his home of Camavor.
