Summary
Somehow, seeing the Exarch around when you attempt to collect herbs and other medicinal-related items is not on the top of your list.
He becomes the priority, though, with how the wind threatens to steal his voice and warmth.(This does not please you. Perhaps you've made an enemy against the winds of the First.)

“Your trickery knows no bounds,” the Exarch whispered harshly, anger drawing clarity back to his addled thoughts.
“I’m flattered. Now, relax,” Emet-Selch insisted with a sharp smile. The expression did not suit the Warrior’s borrowed face. “You are so tense—so taut, like a bowstring, you might just snap...”

Summary
When she laid down on the lounge that Urianger manifested from somewhere in only her panties, one towel underneath and one on top, she’d felt excited rather than exposed, crossing her arms above her head before telling him she was ready.
Perhaps it was the fact that it was Urianger’s personal quarters, richly decorated with color and heavy fabrics, or it was the smell of the oil he used — or Urianger himself, every move confident and sure.
The Warrior of Light and tense muscles, what else is new? Luckily Urianger is there to help.

“I would not presume to know anything of your relationship, just know that my intervention was born out of a necessity to see you whole and hale. Even if you have vanquished Lightwardens and I have heard of your triumphs on the Source -”
“Are you jealous?” The Warrior interrupts, voice flat. The air leaves his lungs the moment she asks. How dare she name it.

G'raha sees the Warrior spend time with Lue-Reeq and comes to the wrong conclusion.

For a glorious day, he had thought that Garlond was taking this well.
The next day, at the break of dawn, Nero found himself dragged to an airship, on the co-pilot seat, and nearly an entire day after that, he found himself in Doma. Of all places, the Far East.

"Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration."
A series of prompts fromthe 2019 FFXIV Writing Challenge.
Table of contents so you can pick your poison. And there's lots of poison.
Highlights include lots of Haurchefant-posting in 2k19, Crystal Exarch, some good ole fashioned femslash, and more. Overarching theme of, you know, just - pain. Fear. Suffering. Like 2019 in general.

Summary
When the horn sounds again, you hear the howling of the hunters behind you, wild and beastlike. The drums crescendo with the action, and you waste no time mulling it over.
You run.
Bare feet against the forest floor, you hear them give chase behind you. Arrows fly past your neck, much too close for comfort. Your toes sting with cuts of rock and brambles. Your cheeks burn with the assault of branches. Rogue's knives hit your lower legs and torso, spells send shivers through your body, your heels ache with exhaustion, fear fills your senses. But you do not stop.- Language:

"You could kiss me," you said, wincing at the vulnerability, at the huge target you'd painted on your chest by speaking it aloud.

Summary
"Time and again, I have faced the odds. I have gone where you told me to go, fought what you told me to fight so is it too much to ask for a simple moment before you all leave me again?" A hand pressed over her chest as if she can force the anguish down, bile rising in her throat as her words ring louder. "You tell me to rest as if I can find it in an empty innroom when you are supposed to - supposed to -" The weakness of begging. She hates it, squeezing her eyes shut and pressing her trembling hand down harder. No one says anything and she chokes on a sob, the cool night air of the Crystarium stinging on her flushed cheeks.
--
“You can’t sleep.” Alisaie states, eyes narrowing further. “And neither can we.”
The Warrior peeks over Alisaie’s shoulder, finding Alphinaud already sitting atop her bed. He waves a little upon seeing her, amusement clear in the curve of his smile.

The WoL needs a moment to rest after the events at the Seat of Sacrifice. And once more, following Ultima Thule. -

You head down into Amaurot in search of your friend. Emet-Selch is incredulous you did so — and decides that testing to see if you make a better plaything than an equal is in order. A bit of thirsty smut in celebration of Kinktober.

The truth is; Raha is different when faced with the mantle of leadership. And though you still cannot put your finger on why it is, you are hot and bothered by this change. Enough to want to observe him for just a fraction of the time he has watched you. A little taste of him, when he is pressed to make executive decisions.

Your grin is genuine as you spin yourself around the pole, center-stage for all to see as they whisper flattering words about the hive’s newest Honeybee. Men and women alike turn their attention to you as you carry on your mostly-improvised routine with zest, but your attention is not on them at all. For every other time your body makes its way around again, you find your eyes on the chronometer. Watching, waiting, for a certain patron to come along...

An intriguing what-if scenario and a fun way to incorporate an Emet!Lives AU. Also, I just like Ascian possessions, man. Mutual dependency, vampire-like aether gorging, yada yada... Tasty!! Also really appreciate the connection to the DRK questline. :)
