The Vicomte and Vicomtesse will be good to him so long as he entertains them. When they grow bored, or when they see him for the devil he is, they will do to him as all the others have before them. He will be lucky if they show him the mercy of simply casting him out their door.
The Living Corpse may be a beast, but he is far from mindless. He knows the human race well, and he knows he is not part of it. The worst thing a creature like him can do is fall for their tricks. It will be less painful, less humiliating if he denies them the pleasure of taking him for a fool.
After being abused and violated for as long as he can remember, Erik can’t recognise kindness even when it’s staring him straight in the face.

Sophie stumbles into Erik's underground world one day quite by accident when Erik saves her from a fate worse then death. But he can not risk another angry mob coming for his blood, and so Erik takes Sophie prisoner and keeps her locked away underground where the two of them must learn how to live together.
Erik/OFC centric and Christine/Raoul friendly. Based on Leroux/ALW/Susan Kay. A Hades and Persephone inspired tale. Complete.
