Not tightly enough to hurt her but she can tell from his iron strength that it would take more than her current skillset to break free unless he lets her. Maybe she should be afraid of him with that dark look on his face but his heart is still breaking in her chest—she can feel him, damn it—and all she can do is wonder at the miracle of it.
It’s been ten long years since she’s heard proper music and his song is still rushing through her blood like the first rain after a drought.
“How did you do that?” He demands.

Finally one day, Yavanna had enough.
Bilbo Baggins would bring the change. And Yavvanna would do everything in her power to make it happen. Her children would thrive once more.
And for just a moment, Thorin felt the body under him breathe.

Summary
Bilbo Baggins was a very respectable Hobbit but as a historian he loved tales and legends of old. Persuaded (manipulated) by Gandalf to go on a small adventure, he, his nephew and Frodo's friends end up following the Quest trail, the route of the legendary dwarf, Thorin Oakenshield’s doomed attempt to reclaim his home from the dragon. But all is not as it seemed and suddenly the Hobbits find themselves meeting people who shouldn’t even exist and squarely in the middle of much more adventure than they had intended.
All any Quest needs is a Hobbit after all.

Summary
Erebor rejoiced for the winning of the battle of the five armies, the line of Durin is saved and the whole company celebrates. All except for one, the burglar had left in the middle of the night to go back to the Shire. Bilbo had gotten news from his family that the Shire had been invaded by a pack of orcs, who had asked for one particular hobbit who goes on an adventure with dwarves. Bilbo knew that there is something wrong, why would orcs hunt him down? Whatever is the reason?

He stands in the kitchen, happily munching a cranberry-orange scone and oblivious to Belladonna’s tears as she runs her fingers frantically through his blood matted hair.

Summary
Trying to lighten the suddenly tense atmosphere, Bilbo jokingly replied “Well I do have some skill at Conquers.” Not that the dwarves would know the weapons used in Conquer the Field. It was common knowledge in Hobbiton that Outsiders preferred, ahem, less developed weaponry for some reason.
Not that the Hobbit’s questioned their preferred arms, oh no, that would be terribly rude.
Not that it stopped Bilbo from wondering why they didn't just use guns.
