Marin isn't quite sure how to feel about being pregnant. He's somewhere between over the moon and regretting every decision he's ever made in his life. He loves the pup growing inside of him and is terrified of growing to care for it, so many things could go wrong. So many things had gone wrong. Dick is another problem on top of his conflicting feelings, the Alpha seems to be happy about the pup which is good, it should be good. So why doesn't it feel good?

Dick couldn't imagine ever settling down for real, never in his life could he see himself locking himself to one person and raising a child with them. Marin however has somehow made him want all of those things. Is it ideal that his omega got pregnant before he could get a chance to confront those feelings? Probably not. But what Dick knows is that he loves Marin- hell Marin might be the first person he's ever been able to love in a romantic way. He loves Marin and he loves the pup inside of him. Even if something from the past is anchoring his omega to a deep fear that Dick isn't sure how to face.
