(Note - the spelling of this fic's title is deliberate; it's the title of the Chevelle song Piistol Star (Gravity Heals), which is the inspiration for this installment. And it's a real fk'n banger ♥)

A sequel set during two different time periods taking place 15 and 30 years after the events of Cyberpunk 2077 and my earlier story titled 'I Promise.'
Life can be difficult at times and the past has an uncanny way to come back and haunt us when we least expect it. As time passes for Judy Alvarez following the events of I Promise, a series of events unfold during two key moments in her life which echo one another, even as she finds herself in very different phases of her life during those events. But as her life presents her with unexpected challenges, she will ultimately face the question of what purpose can be found in life when so much of it is anchored to the past.

Summary
Judy finally gets her happy ending, and she and V leave Night City far behind as they embark on the next chapter of their lives with the Aldecaldos. Together with the nomads, they seek out a cure for V's terminal condition. Things aren't easy...but V, Judy, and the family know things aren't ever easy, nor simple.
Chapter titles are all inspired by Judy and V-based missions in the game, so 9 total chapters and an epilogue :) Music plays a huge role, thus the inspiration for the fic's title.
Sapphic sappy stuff, with love, from a sappy sapphic ♥ Smut, fluff, violence (it is Cyberpunk 2077, after all), little bit of angst, action, and a happy ending :)

Set just before the Star Ending, V and Judy are struggling to come to terms with the aftermath of Mikoshi in their own ways. Before they roll out with the Aldecaldos and leave Night City in the dust, they have one last loose end to tie up, and it may end up helping them both more than they think.
