Bruce was 13 when he lost his parents, he was 16 when his oldest brother walked out on their family.
He was tired, he was angry and most importantly, he was hungry. He wanted to leave, the struggles, the pressure, the responsibilities, the ghosts of the past, everything, everything was too much. Maybe he could stay over with a friend or even an ex, maybe he should leave this Troll-eating hellscape all together. But then, he looked back. Big baby blue eyes, eyes he couldn't leave behind, they meant too much. All of his brothers, his family, and all of his memories here, with them and others, even after everything, he couldn't leave all of it, all of them, behind. - …Well, fuck! - He guessed it was time to stop following his brother's lead, he was staying.
Floyd's plead for their brothers to stay work, for the most part, so now Spruce finds himself responsible of his 3 younger brothers and still stuck at the Troll Tree. What will change among the brothers and what will stay the same? And where even is John Dory?

Surprised, Spruce looked up at her. Brandy's expression was neutral, her eyes gently observing him as she cradled her head in one hand. Relaxed, seemingly, despite the seriousness of her tone.
"What do you mean?"
She splayed her free hand out and shrugged, a few of her long red locs slipping over her shoulder.
"Names are... Well, they don't have to be something that holds us back. If it anchors you to the past, you can change it. Get rid of it. Define yourself rather than let it define you. I did it."
Spruce blinked, understanding washing through him.
