The Spectre had grown bored of the same repetitive rounds that had kept them feed, bored of the repetitive taste of fear in the adult survivors, they decided to change things up, intending to fed themselves the purest form of fear only ever be truly given by a child.
However, they know how children couldn't exactly be in their 'hell', so they decided to 'modify' a survivor and turn them into a child. After all, they had the power for it, didn't they? As for the victim, they picked 007n7. They're favorite to torment.
After all, the former hacker had been wallowing in self loathing, and guilt. Even after the infamous hacker had tried to show his change, he was remained to be seen by his past and nothing more. Truly a perfect plaything that will definitely change things up.
As if mocking the hacker's useless methods to show his change, they decided to grant the child the 'blessing' of the spawn as well, all while lessening their hold on the c00lgui, simply for their own amusement.
How will they deal with it? They wonder. Even so, in the end. They'd have so much fun.

“A baby?” 007n7 intervened, finishing Noli’s sentence. “Yeah. Yeah, it is. And not just any baby, it's..” 007n7 trailed off. “Just look at it.”
The baby stirred in its sleep, letting out a soft, muffled gurgle. Its skin was deep crimson, almost glowing in the dim light. Noli’s mouth was wide open. “Oh my goodness, it’s fucking red.” he whispered in disbelief.
“Thank you!” 007n7 said, throwing up his hands. “Finally, someone acknowledges the baby is red! I thought I was going insane.”
“Why is it red?!” Noli whisper-yelled, his voice cracked with disbelief as he flailed his arms like he could somehow fling the weirdness out of the room by force alone.
“You think I know?!” 007n7 shot back, hands gesturing wildly. “You think I just wander around campus planting red demon babies in cardboard boxes for funsies!?"

007n7 stares at the man in front of his doorstep, pinstriped suit and a dark fedora covering his face. He looked like trouble. The hacker narrows his eyes as he leans on the door, “Do you need something?”
He hopes he doesn’t sound scared or his eyes flickering back to the house — to his son’s room — isn’t obvious. The hacker isn’t afraid, he can take care of himself, but his son?…Well he doesn’t know what this man will do and he won’t risk finding out.
To his surprise, the man flushes, coughing into his hand. “Ah, uhm…your son and his friends has told me you were looking for someone….such as a partner.”
007n7’s stomach drops at his words. What the hell?
He should probably stop letting c00lkid hang out with the neighbor’s kids, he thinks.
