“WHAT THE ACTUAL FU—”“AAAAIIEEEEEEEYAAAAAA!!”
“WHAT ARE YOU TWO SCREAMING ABOUT?!”
Builderman stood in front of the two seated on opposite sides of the Grandfather clock, neither Two Time nor Shedletsky would look at him, Two Time smiling with unease, although they clearly tried not to, biting their lip and making a weird face while Shedletsky looked like a child trying to think of an excuse after getting in trouble.
“I’ll ask again…what’s with you two?”
“Nothing!” Two Time spoke up first surprisingly, finally meeting Builderman’s frown with a smile that wasn’t very…‘Two-Time’.
“So screaming ‘What the actual fuck’ was just nothing?” Two Time felt their face heat up even more than before, hoping nobody else heard it even though they knew nothing would answer their prayers. “Yyyyyyes?”
Builderman facepalmed, looking at Shedletsky. “And you?”
“Uhh, I had a nightmare…”
“You were awake.”
Two Time, deciding to try to end this awkward conversation so they and Shedletsky could gather their bearings, checked at the intermission timer and stood up. “Oh wow, look! 20 seconds left! I will take Shedletsky outside to pray with me to—to Spawn! Uh, come along, o’sword fighter!”
They grabbed Shedletsky and forced him to also stand up, walking outside urgently. Once they were next to the shore, Two Time looked at him with a frown. “What. The Hell. Really was that code?”
Shedletsky shook his head, “I don’t know! It just appeared out of nowhere after the server refreshed, I thought it was a new system they added to feed the playerbase!”
“Well great…if the announcement message meant anything, the Spectre actually exists as a power and now we are trapped in this realm.”
“We are Forsaken.”
“No.”
“:(”
“Look, until we figure out how to get out of here, let’s try to not create any more suspicion…so you need to act like Shedletsky and I need to act like I’m Two Time.”
“How do I act like Shedletsky?”
“Did you not read the wiki? He — he uhh, he…he’s a protector and pretty chill.”
“Bruh.”
“Okay shut up, these are our mains, it’s gonna be fine. If you fuck up, I’m fine cause I can stay in character.”

No, no they could not. They fucking lied.“GUARD ELLIOT!” Two Time shouted at the top of their lungs, shoving themselves into the middle of the chase between the team’s healer and Jason. “SHEDLETSKY, STOP EMOTING AND GET YOUR ASS DOWN HERE!”
Shedletsky sighed, finally getting down from the cliff to follow the line. He didn’t have much choice at his hand, as the rest of the team were God knows where. This wasn’t even a public server these apparently were the real characters so where the—

“Don’t talk to me when you’re literally only a level-10-ass Shedletsky who plays Memoriam because you know you will die.”“Shut your bitchass up, you played the ‘useless’ one and still died with no responsibilities on your shoulders.”
“WHAT’S THAT SAY ABOUT YOU, LEVEL 100??”
“IT MEANS—” the two then died by Jason using Raging Pace and hitting them both with an attack, being fed up with spectating. Or rather, Shedletsky died and Two Time came back in their second life, adrenaline distracting them from the pain.
The wings tearing from their back in an unpleasant, close to gory display went ignored, as all they could focus on was how alive they felt. This was the blessing of Spawn? No wonder Two Time was always smiling! This was power!
“Square up hockey-mask!” They grinned maniacally, they felt like they could take on anything right now as they pulled Jason over to the other side of the map. Hopefully nobody like Chance with his one-thousand stacks of weakness was hiding there.
Unfortunately for Two Time, the adrenaline only lasted so long, their speed boost ending and pain settling in. “Oh. Oh it’s got a kick—EEEYEOWCH!”
A Gashing Wound and now they were dead a second time, returning to the survivor’s cabin.
“…We fumbled.”
“At least it wasn’t Barber Jason.”
“A what?” Chance stopped flipping his coin and sat up straighter on the couch.
