((I tried to stay as canon compliant as possible. Though, and hear me out, I fudged the dates a bit for Hannibal's backstory. I also didn't use the books/Hannibal Rising childhood. Hannibal NBC kept his childhood trauma vague. So, enjoy the gaps I filled in.))

Summary
For a few weeks, Jack Crawford has had an odd feeling in his chest, something he hasn't felt since he was called to the scene of Francis Dolarhyde's murder. That feeling of dread, as if something were creeping up behind him with a steak knife. A crushing realization that he's been denying himself over the time Will Graham and Hannibal Lecter have been missing.
This dread he feels is not unfounded, he finds.
A painting of Will Graham, surrounded by six wolves sleeping near his relaxed body, has appeared in an isolated gallery in Lithuania.

Hannibal has always loved to draw Will in his best element, whether that be covered in someone else's blood or in the form of a Greek tale.

Hannibal is overwhelmed with being forced to re-live his childhood trauma, which strains their relationship. Through a surrealist lens, the murder husbands navigate overcoming past trauma as well as incorporating the less palatable aspects of their relationship into their casual domesticity.

The events of Mizumono happened but not the same- Will was left with his smile and Alana was pushed from the window. Jack Crawford was left in the pantry and Hannibal's heart felt as though it had been ripped from his chest and stomped to the floor. Abigail's neck wasn't cut.
As the rain came down and Will was left bleeding, Abigail and Hannibal left his residence and made their way to Lithuania. The future takes shape from here. -

Based loosely on Brams Stoker's Dracula, because I couldn't help myself.
He shouldn't have come here, this place is forbidden. The councilmen had said so, warned all of them, about the terrors that lurk in these woods-but he wouldn't listen, couldn't when that creature called out to him so enticingly. That mysterious voice that would speak so smoothly, so lovingly to him.
He regrets it now, always does.
A swift movement to his right has him stumbling back a step. The monster's movement swift and light in the distance, dashing behind one of the towering trees. Hiding itself from view, the creature taunts him with his identity, but he himself knows what that creature is, has had this dream many times before. No matter that the knowledge of the beast dissipates like a fog in the presence of his waking mind. In dreams he knows, in dreams he remembers.
