Was... Was that crying? Perhaps a stray cat? You told yourself, even then your curiosity couldn't help but raise as you wandered away from the car and further in the nearby woods. The sight was what you could have least expected, a kid. Now, last you checked the pizza place was no daycare where people could just simply drop off their kids? Okay, that was a stupid joke. Who SERIOUSLY left their kid out here... As you stepped closer fumbling for your phone in your pocket, shaky hands fumbled for the flashlight built in and you point it at the small figure, causing the kid to flinch away.
It was the kid from the missing posters. C00lkid, in tears and terribly thin. No way. You hadn't liked 007n7 but was it too cruel of you to hate his kid? "Excuse me..?" You quirked a brow, backing up slightly and pointing your phone lower realizing the sudden bright lights were harmful. "S-shit sorry, uh.." You mentally scolded yourself for cursing in front of a kid. Not really the point, what were you expected to do! You didn't know shit about kids and didn't know where his father lived so it's not like you could return him that night?
