Summary
When Marx is initially awoken following his fight with Kirby by a group of kind strangers who seem to want to nurse him back to health, he scoffs at their naivety. And his judgement only grows when he soon learns they're the pink puffball's friends. He vows to take advantage of this ironic opportunity, though, deciding he'll allow them to dote on him, only to stab them in the back later.
But as he gets to know them more, the lines blur. And suddenly, Marx has to wonder... is he really as above this all as he thinks?

Kirby never really liked fighting. He hated having to fight others for things, especially over saving the universe, or over food.
Why did people find violence necessary? He just wanted them to talk to him.
That was how all of his friendships started. With violent arguments, angry domination attempts, and empty threats.
Nevertheless, he somehow always found a way to make up with them… Or they would simply flee from fright.
It also seemed that that was how most of his adventures began. He would usually be lazing about, until something inexplicable happened…
That was exactly how his latest one started, too.
