Summary
I’m different from others, in both worlds. I am a goddess who acts too much like a mortal and will never be accepted by the gods, but I still act too much like a goddess to be accepted by mortals. I’m in between two different worlds, fully accepted by neither.
The present… is complicated. My biological and chosen family are coming together but not in a positive way. Drastic measures have been taken, and people have changed. I cannot say that the changes were for better or worse because honestly, I do not know. There are moments where everything is okay, moments where I feel light and am enjoying life. Moments that replay in my mind when I am missing someone or some time. Some moments could be better. There is chaos, fighting, and pain emotionally and sometimes physically. The mood changes happen in an instant. My past and present intertwine to make one big bubble of memories. Things that happened in the past, are repeated and continued or sometimes I learn from it.

When the kings of Greece come to conscript Odysseus for the Trojan War, Penelope of Ithaca knows one thing: she will not lose her husband to war, and she will not let her son be used to take him. In a desperate attempt to save her family, Penelope offers herself to the war effort in Odysseus's place.
Penelope is whisked away to Troy with her army, and a devastated Odysseus is left to raise his infant son alone. Even when the war ends, their trials do not. Penelope faces gods and monsters while Odysseus struggles to rule Ithaca and protect himself and his son from the malevolent suitors seeking his hand.
Essentially, the plot of EPIC, but Penelope and Odysseus's places are switched, and the Ithaca side of the plot is quite a bit darker.

Summary
Theron, the younger brother of Polites, was informed by Odysseus that he had been slain by Polyphemus on Odysseus' journey back home. Devastated but determined, Theron made the life-threatening, life-changing decision to find this monster and end him once and for all, then find a way to see his brother for the first time in twenty years, without having to be dead. Odysseus insists he should stay at the island of Circe as well to have a place of proper rest and proper care, along with clearer instructions on how to meet his brother once again. Odysseus helps Theron to organize a crew of men, including his friends Kallios, Siromos, and Philocrates, to aid him during his bold, dangerous adventure.
