E: Hello. I apologize for the short length of this fic, and if it is slightly rough. It's the first thing I've written since getting home, and I wanted something to ease myself back into writing fic after being gone for a couple of weeks. I took the challenge of converting the lyrics to Car Radio by Twenty One Pilots and turning it into this small fic of Nicole by herself to help somewhat practice writing without dialogue and to portray a version of Nicole that's slightly older, and more self aware. And, given the recent events of the flopside, I feel maybe this would be as good of a time as any to release this.Anyway. I hope you enjoy this for what it is.

Nicole and Jecka are not a good match.
They enable their worst habits, hurt everyone around them, and can’t go a month without blowing up at each other. Their communication is terrible, their coping skills minimal, and their ‘solutions’ never actually fix or address anything close to the problem.
They are, by any and all definitions, extremely toxic.
But, really, none of that matters, because they’re gonna make it work no matter who or what they need to sacrifice to get there in the end. They’re not worth the effort? Says who? Not really for anybody else to decide, now is it?
Being alone is bad enough.
Being alone without the one person who really gets you, for better or mostly worse?
Fuck that.
