Ma vision tressautait. Je gisais parmi les autres ruines de son jardin, presque aussi disloqué que le petit kiosque qu’elle aimait tant, celui près de sa chambre... Je pouvais sentir les larmes de Zelda même de si loin: les Larmes de la Déesse. Pour moi, elles étaient d'énergie pure… Un carburant si puissant. Je sentais dans mes rouages qu'elle comptait se sceller elle-même avec la Bête pour *protéger tout le monde*, comme elle l'avait fait sur l'Autre Route. Je ne pouvais pas le permettre! C'était ma mission d’empêcher ça!
Tant bien que mal je me dressai sur mes trois pattes, puisant dans mes toutes dernières forces. Porté par ses larmes, je courus la rejoindre. C’est à peine si mes circuits se connectaient, mais tous mes engrenages me hurlaient que chaque nano-seconde comptait. Je me jetai sur l'ennemi: je devais annuler le bouclier spatio-temporel que je pouvais sentir autour de lui comme une aura. C’est mon autre moi corrompu qui lui avait offert ça... C'était la seule chose que je pouvais faire. J'étais le seul à pouvoir le faire. Et seulement en en payant le prix fort.

Mask was tired. He'd been chasing Dark Link for exactly two years, three months, six days, eight hours, twenty-seven minutes, and thirteen seconds, while also trying to undo any accidental paradoxes he made along the way. So when a sword falls from the sky, and he discovers that the heroes are decidedly not when they're supposed to be, he assumes the worst.
It had to be his fault somehow, it always was. Now he just had to fix it.

“Are you alright?” Sky asks, and Twilight nods. Sky is still clutching Four’s strange hat. Twilight can see a little more of it. Does it have a... ?
“Hey!” comes another voice. It’s unfamiliar, and they both startle at it, glancing around. There’s nobody on the red bird but them (this must be the loftwing Sky was talking about, that he couldn’t show them last time because they were too far-) and then the voice comes again.
“I’m swallowing feathers! Pick me up!”
In a moment of blank confusion, Sky lifts the hat up and nearly shrieks when it moves on its own, getting in his face and shouting. Twilight was right - it has a beak?
“What.” Sky deadpans, and Twilight nearly laughs in his own disbelief.

Huddled between the two, larger birds in their shared nest was a smaller one that was not normally there. The creamy white creature shook its head upon Link’s arrival and gave an innocent chirp, leaving the nest and stepping towards him. It had been so long since Link had seen a baby Loftwing up close – not since he himself was a child – that he almost forgot what one looked like, and acted like for that matter.
This, he told himself, he had to show Zelda.

Summary
Having a literal goddess for a whife has it's ups and downs and can make life seem a bit unpredictable at times, but if there's one thing for certain, it's that things never get boring with her.
This is just a bunch of modern AU hylink oneshots with no real plot in mind. And things don't go exactly the way the manga did, I kinda had to change a few things. There was a war but it was Hyrule fighting with a different country, not Demise. And Link was a POW that was released when the war ended and Hylia found him homeless and helped him get back up on his feet.
