Ada Brooks, a student at the George Washington University lands an internship at the Jeffersonian Institute to learn from the best of the best, one of them being Zack Addy, the head forensic anthropologist's assistant. When they are forced to share an office and do field work alongside Dr Brennan and Special Agent Booth, their relationship starts to kindle into something more.

Temperance Brennan doesn't like to talk about her past. Whether that's just a byproduct of her social obliviousness or her fear of what that makes her feel depends on the memory. Demi Fontenot was a victim of social obliviousness. Demi is someone you look at and ignore out of survival instinct. Something in you will tell you, "That is not a person you should remember." Most generally take that cue to heart. Maybe that's why Demi wasn't talked out.
When they start working at the Jeffersonian Medico-Legal Lab, memories of Temperance and Demi's time at Northwestern College begin to resurface. There were a few years after college when Demi was gone. Despite being a projected prodigy in the field, nothing of spectacle came to light from Demi Fontenot. That leaves Brennan and her contemporaries to wonder why.
I'm sorry in advance. I work on several at the same time and updates come sporadically. I will try to get to be somewhat regular, but I promise nothing.
