Kevin is fast enough to try to end his own life while he’s in the Light. The time it takes him to find the gun, load it, and press the barrel to his mouth is just enough for Casey to try and escape.

When Casey Cooke is taken by the Beast, the other alters are forced to keep her captive or face the Beast's wrath. Soon she begins to hear rumors of another alter, one stronger than them all. He was dark, unstable, had been forced from the light because they do not trust him. Now Casey's only hope against the Beast is finding this alter, who may be worst than the Beast himself.
This is a rewrite of my first ever fanfic of a similar name.

Life wasn't perfect, but they were happy with their jobs, their time together, but all things seem to change when Emily moved for College for four years, and even more soon after she returned to find that things had changed with Kevin and the others.

John Cooke has some nefarious plans and decides to take Casey to a secluded cabin in the woods for a little long weekend trip. Along the way, they run into Dennis and his friends, who has nefarious plans for John. Basically, Casey will get what she wants and John will get what he deserves. Of course, let's not forget about Dennis...who will also get what he wants (pairing: Dennis/Casey). FANFIC COMPLETED.
