A Hades & Persephone retelling of M Night Shyamalan's Split
What better sacrifice than from one who makes it willingly?
On the verge of suicide, a severely depressed Casey Cooke offers to take the place of her classmates in what she thinks is a run-of-the-mill kidnapping by a handsome zookeeper with DID, only to find herself being groomed for cannibalization in ritual sacrifice to a primordial entity of retribution. Oh well. If she's going out, she may as well go out with a bang, and take her abuser and all of those complaint in letting her suffer at his hands, down with her. And if she accidentally falls in love with her kidnapper in the process, her sacrifice will only be all the more sacred. After all, the ways of the underworld are not her ways, but they are perfect, and not to be questioned.

Summary
Dennis regrets his part in unleashing the Beast and survives Raven Hill, getting the chance to try and set things right. As the former face of the Horde he strives to redeem himself, while Barry just wants some semblance of a normal life again. Casey stands in the middle, refusing to abandon her new friend Kevin, much to Barry's delight and Dennis's chagrin.
Set at the end of Glass and turns a dark ending into (hopefully) a new beginning for our favorite "broken" characters.

As Above, So Below, is an alternate universe of Split, in which Casey offers to go with Dennis willingly if he agrees to spare Marcia and Claire. This story is a slow-burn, angsty retelling of the Taking of Persephone, and combines M Night Shyamalan's thriller with the works of Homer and Ovid. It also includes an impressive amount of smut.
As Within, So Without is an alternate ending to Glass, in which Casey and the Horde escape Raven Hill and start a new life together. This story is meant to give our sad little fandom closure in the form of the ending we fucking deserve. It blatantly shatters the forth wall, serves as a selfish therapeutic exercise for me to process my own issues, and also includes A LOT of smut.
Both of these stories are stand-alone works that happen to share an overarching theme.

When Kevin is pranked cruelly at the zoo, a single change shifts things. This time, a girl with sad doe eyes is there to help him through it and save him. He and the others just didn’t know she needed saving too.
Barry remembered the rush of voices from the others bouncing around Kevin's head, the way Kevin himself was closing off and beginning to start drowning in his own despair and memories. She'd reached him just in time and Barry couldn't be anymore thankful for it.
"It was nothing," a faint blush covered her cheeks. "I just…I saw how you were and I couldn't help walking over. You looked really upset."
"And I was," he said gently.
Later, when she was leaving to meet her class in time to leave, he called out to her. "Hey…you ever need help or something…You can always come here for me, okay? You could even ask for one of the workers here for me, and I'll be there to help you," he promised.
She looked startled for a moment before she gave him a tired smile that took him aback.
"Thanks," she said quietly.
