Summary

It transferring into a love story that resembled a twisted retelling of Beauty and the Beast was not in her head when she was an eight year old.
Growing up together, Emily is one of the few that can completely understand Kevin and the others involved with his DID. Life wasn't perfect, but they were happy with their jobs, their time together, but all things seem to change when Emily moved for College for four years, and even more soon after she returned to find that things had changed with Kevin and the others.

What better sacrifice than from one who makes it willingly?
On the verge of suicide, a severely depressed Casey Cooke offers to take the place of her classmates in what she thinks is a run-of-the-mill kidnapping by a handsome zookeeper with DID, only to find herself being groomed for cannibalization in ritual sacrifice to a primordial entity of retribution. Oh well. If she's going out, she may as well go out with a bang, and take her abuser and all of those complaint in letting her suffer at his hands, down with her. And if she accidentally falls in love with her kidnapper in the process, her sacrifice will only be all the more sacred. After all, the ways of the underworld are not her ways, but they are perfect, and not to be questioned.

Vowing to protect her community and those who are suffering, she takes back control. After the many robberies and muggings lead her to the Philadelphia Zoo, she has no choice but to reside there for further investigation. Where she meets Kevin, an interesting man that seems to change moods like the weather. Following their embarrassing first encounter, she tries to make amends. Now stationed around the zoo, she sees more of the compelling man. Could they be friends? Could they find similarities between each other? But why was he staring at her so intently? And when did his blue eyes become so mesmerizing?

Enter Casey Cooke as Koré turned Persephone, and Kevin Wendell Crumb as the Dark Lord Hades. The metaphor is just so deliciously obvious.
As Within, So Without is an alternate ending to Glass, in which Casey and the Horde escape Raven Hill and start a new life together. This story is meant to give our sad little fandom closure in the form of the ending with fucking deserve. It blatantly shatters the forth wall, serves as a selfish therapeutic exercise for me to process my own issues, and includes A LOT of smut.
As Above, So Below, is an alternate universe of Split, in which Casey offers to go with Dennis willingly if he agrees to spare Marcia and Claire. This story is a slow-burn, angsty retelling of the Taking of Persephone, and combines M Night Shyamalan's thriller with the works of Homer and Ovid. It will also include an impressive amount of smut, just not right away.
Both of these stories are stand-alone works that happen to share an overarching theme.
