His composure remained in every perfectly-arranged strand of silver-white hair, in each measured step. There was something brittle in it now, like ice just before it splinters. Power was everything, yet here was weakness made visible in the mirror, mocking him. The ancient writings became an anchor, something tangible to focus on besides the echoes of thunder and rain, of Dante's voice calling out to him before he'd walked away.
In which Vergil's encounter with Dante after the pre-DMC3 manga led to the elder twin's increased nightmares and bouts of insomnia. Taking a seeming demonic sleeping remedy from Arkham, the elder twin finds himself caught between strange visions and faces of himself yet to pass. Will Vergil be willing to listen to himself, or will he be forever destined to walk his current path?

Like, being related to an ancient demon knight that defeated the Prince of Darkness or being the son of the man that saved the world from a bloodsucking tree or having such unbelievable magical powers you can bring nightmares into reality.
So, yeah. The unknown can be dangerous, beautiful, or really dull sometimes. But it can be fun... like really, really, fun. Like, man. I kill demons for a living... And with all honesty... I'm absolutely crazy about it!

One day, strange portals started appearing around Red Grave City and it's surroundings. No one knows from where they belong, nor where do they lead to, but they only know that, when the DMC crew finds them, they are already closed, or dissapeared, leaving strange markings on the walls that they were on. No one has an explanation, just that if you hear closely to an already closed portal, you can hear someone crying and words that no one can decipher.
This has been a recent discovery for all the devil hunters, but the problems is that, these portals, were there since ages ago, and no one noticed until now...
