Gourdy slowly stood, wrapping his blanket around his arms as he stepped towards the door, a tremble in each step. "...Who’s there?"
Silence. And then, a snarl, one that makes Gourdy yelp and stumble back, tripping over his own feet and landing on the rug. He feels paralyzed, unable to do anything but watch as the knocking quickly revealed itself to be scratching, which became clawing, desperate to get inside.

It's now the Halloween season, and Gourdy's dilemma involving his missing parents has resurfaced with the other toons now finding out the full details of what's going on. After successfully bringing Gourdy’s parents to life and saving him. It soon however becomes apparent Gourdy still suffers trauma, and his parents must do what they can to help lead him on the right path.
