The hammer feels heavy in Jayce’s hands. His feet feel even heavier. But perhaps his heart feels the heaviest of them all.
Each step toward who lies ahead, what lies ahead, feels like an added weight piling more and more on his shoulders until surely he’ll crumble.
And yet Jayce persists. He must.
(or, an ep6 scene rewrite: Jayce knows he needs to stop Herald Viktor in order to prevent the future he saw from happening, but no one told him how he was supposed to kill the love of his life, especially not when they start kissing)
