Summary
Ella never wanted to go back to Sandrock. Ever. She had a comfortable life in Highwind as an esteemed builder, something she would never achieve back home.
But as Sandrock suffers continues to suffer the effects of their long-lasting economic depression, Ella can't stand by and watch. Upon her arrival home, Ella struggles to assimilate back into the Sandrock culture, especially with all the changes that occurred while she was gone. Why does nobody seem to want to speak about Logan? Where was the mayor? And why was Owen the only one who readily accepted her back into town?
Ella aims to find out before she overextends her stay in her old hometown.

In order to get myself back into the habit of writing again and force myself to write outside of inconsistent waves of brainrot, every day* of my winter break, I'm planning on doing a warmup exercise:
Spin a wheel of all the MTAS characters (including my builder Wis) twice, and write a short oneshot (limit 1000 words) involving both of those characters.

Summary
Picture this: the big city, your dream job, and your first step away from home. Only something goes awry, and you find yourself moments before Logan hijacks the train. You've seen this all before. It's a classic isekai scenario, or interdimensional travel, or some other time-space conundrum. Your problem remains the same, you're stranded in the desert with no way home, adding onto the fact that nobody knows who you are, you can't trust anybody, and the only people you can trust are seemingly never around when you need them.
Armed with nothing but your own wits and knowledge of the plot, you set out to see how much a single person can alter the predetermined fate of Sandrock before things take a turn for the worse. However, saving the town is infinitely more difficult when you have to wrestle with complicated feelings for a certain doctor all while dealing with a bandit that keeps deviating from the script.
For yours and everyone else's sake, you hope you can pull this off.
