Diamonds Fall and Fates Change: Arctic and Foeslayer don’t fall apart. They raise Whiteout and Darkstalker with love and care. Darkstalker doesn’t fall into a dark future.Shattered: Uninjured and uncaring of Arctic’s endeavors, Snowfox and Snowflake contuine their work to take Diamond’s throne. They’re greatly successful.
A Freed Albatross, New Murky Waters: Albatross decides to protect Fathom from Lagoon’s plot to use his grandson’s magic. This has unforeseen consequences, and while Albatross works to defend his family, blood will still be shed by one’s royal’s claws.
The Two Queens: In The icewing kingdom, changes are made by the two new rulers. Newly victorious Queen Snowfox and her ‘advisor’ Snowflake. Not only do they improve their kingdom, but their relations with other tribes. Connections allow for power afterall.

Armed with a very loose recollection of how things went down in the books (and some vague ideas of how magic works) a human with the idea of 'don't be a stupid megalomaniac of an idiot' finds herself replacing Darkstalker right out of the egg.

Summary
I just wanted to make a story about Darkstalker × Fathom because they give such a strong ship vibe. I’m really excited to explore their relationship. The way Fathom’s shy, careful nature meets Darkstalker’s clever, bold charm. There’s something about that mix of quiet hesitation and teasing confidence.
What really excites me is seeing how they bring out the best in each other. Fathom’s thoughtfulness softens Darkstalker in ways he doesn’t usually show, and Darkstalker’s boldness encourages Fathom to step a little further than he thought he could. That shy-guilt and-bold dynamic makes every interaction feel intimate and alive.
Both Animus, both clever and strong in ways the world doesn’t always understand, they fit to each others in my opinion.
May magic be on their side. -

At this point, she hardly recognized him. All cold shouldered with glares as sharp as icicles.
It was so much different, then the vivid memories of the Arctic that danced around and around in her head.
Of the Arctic she'd first fallen for.
That laugh of his that only she'd gotten to enjoy.
That way he'd look at her... like his entire universe revolved around her.
He didn't look at her like that anymore. He didn't laugh at her jokes anymore.
Lately, though, Foeslayer had begun to consider the possibility that the root of his... shift in character, wasn't just from the accident during their escape.
But something deeper, worse.
Something he still surpressed now.
She intended to figure that out, figure him out.
For his sake... and her own.
