Summary
Angrod and Aegnor woke up a century or so before the Rebellion. While they are both eager to avoid it from happening again, they had different approaches on how to achieve it. Aegnor, the calm and collected one, wants to make peace with that side of the family, while Angrod, the impulsive one, wants to cut it from the root. Too bad his brother is stopping him... though with the surprises they kept finding, perhaps it was a good idea. Not that he was ever saying that on his face.
Aegnor knew that he was going to suffer as he was forced to become his father´s helper in this whole wedding planning for Elenammë and Telpehalda, he just didn´t know it was going to be so much. He also discovered some things he would rather not know. He guessed he should get help... if only two of his brothers didn´t have the attention spawn of cocker spaniels... well, at least he was here to prevent Angrod from making too many big mistakes... who he was kidding, this was going to be a nightmare.

occurs, and Elmo's pregnant partner is compelled to return to
Middle-earth to seek out King Thingol, who is Elmo's older brother.
After finding the king of the Sindar, the elf resides in Menegroth,
where he gives birth to his and Elmo's son, Galadhon. After Galadhon
grows up, he meets Beleg and falls in love. Although the Eldar
disapproves of their marriage, they choose to live together. They have
three sons: Celeborn, Galathil, and Oropher who are the storyteller’s grandchildren. -

It is a night of joy and anticipation for the royal family of Eglador, for Galadhon and his wife are about to welcome their second child. So while all the family is busy preparing for the new baby's arrival, it falls upon the king himself to put his daughter to bed- his daughter who is adamant that she is not tired at all.
(A friendly nod here to all my German-speaking readers: this story was heavily inspired by one of my favourite children's books "Valerie und die Gute-Nacht-Schaukel" by Mira Lobe. If you know, you know. If not, it is really worth checking out) -

Let me teach you the things you should have learnt from your mother.”Elrond hesitated. That was to be expected. He had been trained to be loyal to his kidnappers. Thingol could be patient. He painted a gentle smile on his face and sweetened his voice.
“I am told you know a little of our festivals and our literature, but do you know our songs? Our dances? Do you know the food we eat and the clothes we wear? You should at least learn of your culture.”
After a disastrous first meeting, Thingol attempts to connect with Elrond, his one living male descendant. Elrond is more interested in negotiating peace between the Noldor and the Sindar. Neither get quite what they want.

NOTE: I deliberately chose not to issue any specific warning or even rate the story, because it covers such a huge timespan and character development that it is impossible to do it really justice. If I rate it mature (which I probably should), folks will read it for the smut that really isn't the focus at all. But you've got it all there, plus all the deaths, destruction and violence canon throws at us, so be careful when reading it!

This was supposed to become my NaNoWriMo story, but after three days I decided that I would like to have the story, even if it took a little longer to write, rather than the nervous breakdown caused by lack of rest and overworking. Maybe I’ll have an unofficial one in next April.
This has a lot of stuff about plans and actions to overthrow Morgoth, but also many other things happen, as always when there are a lot of people together. There will also be some character-based chapters on certain other characters, but hopefully they too serve a greater purpose.
The greater purpose is of course to make our irrepressible heroes do awesome deeds while looking great and have some sex now and then.
