Time flies, and days pass. Every time he glances at the calendar, a frown is painted on his forehead, and his lower lip is caught between his teeth as he lets out a frustrated sigh.
He fondly recalls his time in the S.T.A.R.S. office, surrounded by his men, and all the beautiful things at that time. Their smiles greet him each morning, sharing coffee and laughter. Those were the days when every moment felt like spring.

After seeing how hard his captain has been pushing himself, Chris thinks Wesker could use a break. As Chris encourages Wesker to take better care of himself, Wesker stubbornly declines. Still, Chris is determined to be the one to break the other's bad habits and prevent him from further exhaustion. Along the way, he uncovers secrets about Wesker's identity and discovers a side of his captain that makes both of them question their current paths - and maybe even find a new one together.
Currently rated Teen+ but will switch to M in later chapters.

The recent Cannibal killings have been plaguing Raccoon City since April of 1998. Addison Frost, a recent graduate of Raccoon College, ignored the first murder. At that time, Addison knew this wasn't a normal open-and-shut case. Going against everyone's warnings to leave it be, Addison couldn't shake the feeling there was more going on.
