When her publisher agrees for a book tour for the final book in her fantasy trilogy, Glimmer Queen sees it as a chance to pay it forward by visiting all the indie bookshops that have hand-sold her books into bestsellers over the years. But when her team (agent Catra, publicity manager Adora) set up a stop at a small queer bookstore in the middle of nowhere, Glimmer knows they're up to something. Probably a publicity stunt since a little snooping reveals the gay couple who own the bookstore are the fathers of her cover model, the beefy guy whose chiselled abs are probably responsible for half the sales of her cheesy bisexual fire elf series.
Glimmer's not thrilled about being thrown into proximity with what's probably some muscled meathead gym-bro, but anything for her readers! At least she doesn't have to worry about being nervous around someone she'd actually be attracted to!
Well, unless her friends have sprung a trap to set her up with a sweetheart dork who's exactly her type.

I fell heavily on the grass of the Whispering Woods. I muttered a tiny: -fuck- and I got up on my not-so-standing legs. Dammit, I told Catra to slow down! Before I could notice anything else, a strange, blinding light got my attention. It was brighter than everything I've ever seen before (even tho I lived in the Fright Zone, not the most illuminated place in the world). I looked at it with doubt. The light came out of a beautiful, mysterious sword, with a golden handle with a stone of aquamarine colour in it. Or was it blue? I don't know.
Then my gayass decided that heck yea I would touch that!
And I touched it.
And then I fainted on the ground.

Or, random idea I had during summer 2024 that I'm only taking in hand in January 2025 that includes Lesbian Disasters™ Catra and Adora, a lot of fluff, short chapters (like, really short tho), and Adora and Catra overthrowing Hordak thanks to the power of the gay.

Adora doesn’t look at me. She just smiles and stares out at the valley. “We’re going to do so much for the Horde. You’re going to be singing in the High Choir and writing hymnals, and I’ll be charged with a Seminary—oh! Or on a Sojourn… teaching our histories to all of Etheria and sharing Prime’s Light…”
She makes it sound almost whimsical. But it’s not.
I bite my lip. “If you’re on a Sojourn we’ll never get to see each other.”
She finally looks up at me and she frowns. I almost feel bad for taking her smile away. “I don’t have to submit for a Sojourn. It was just an idea.” She pulls her arm from my shoulders but lays her hand next to mine and grazes the back of it with her fingertips. “Who knows, maybe I’d be considered for Priesthood.”
I laugh, trying to shake my nerves. I don’t like the idea of Adora going away or being a priestess. If Adora becomes a priestess then—then we can’t—
I shake the thought. That’s stupid. Adora wouldn’t… she wouldn’t want that anyway.
OR The Horde is a church that Adora and Catra are in training to serve in and then it all goes to hell when She-Ra shows up.

Though Adora is undoubtedly intelligent, her confinement in Shadow Weaver's home prevents her from fulfilling her 'lifelong pursuit' of becoming President. After eleven years of carefully monitored studies, Adora leaves to attend the Brightmoon Institution, an academy founded to educate the brightest minds.
There she makes friends....as well as enemies. Cue Catra. A forgotten ally from a forgotten place, a reawakened memory in Adora's mind.--------
