December 24, 2016The Phantom Thieves have made their lasting mark by destroying Mementos and saving Japan, and if not, their entire world. All led by the man named "Ren Amamiya", who is well-known as "Joker", the trickster of fate.
2020. The now-disbanded Phantom Thieves have lived their lives throughout the years since their prevail. With the peace they made as they near adulthood, they move on to their next chapter in their lives. But they never lose touch with one another.
All for it to be disturbed, as the gears of fate move once again. A new adversary whose heart cannot be stolen, forcing the Thieves to take it into reality, A returning phenomenon that has caused an alert all the way to the Velvet Room.
Yet the puppeteer hides and within the shadows, watching, waiting for when to strike.

On the 13th of January, 20XX, a transfer student enters the halls of Shujin Academy by chance, and almost immediately, he reunites with his Empress after almost five years of being apart from her. Likewise, a Second-Year student finds herself regaining her lost Valour after so many years spent apart from it.
(Alternatively, this is just an excuse for me to write cute Haru stuff, featuring Akatsuki, whilst also fucking up the Persona 5 timeline. Featuring characters from other series making cameos alongside a single OC)

A retelling of Persona 5, based on the original concept of a road trip, combined with the current concept of Thieves stealing hearts from the wicked, as well as personal preferences for the story.
Ren Amamiya, after being released from prison on good behavior, loses everything-- his home, his friends, his family, and any hopes of even continuing college. However, a stroke of luck has him land in the hands of his grandfather, who gives him the gifts of a large sum of cash and an RV, with a simple goal;
"Travel Japan and find out who Ren Amamiya really is."
During these travels, however, he begins having strange dreams and experiencing unnatural occurrences; dreams of creatures beyond his imagination, seeing and hearing things that aren't possible, and having an app mysteriously appear on his phone. He soon discovers the Metaverse; a world of human cognition made from the twisted desires of man. Realizing he could use these powers to ensure what happened to him never happens to anyone again, he becomes a Phantom Thief of Heart, and decides to use his road trip to ensure he helps those in need! -

Akira Kurusu has never been so bored in his life, it has only been three months since he left Tokyo and he misses it and his friends dearly. At least he has Morgana around to remind him that summer vacation is just around the corner. Him and the rest of the ex-Thieves have been talking of meeting up again despite how hectic everybody's schedules are and he couldn't wait. With dreams of summer vacation on his mind, nothing could ruin his mood.

This is Yongen: a small island in the west of the Tokyo Archipelago. What Yongen doesn’t have in physical size, it makes up for in its citizens.
See, while most places are known for their fishing or clothes; those from Yongen were known for their specialty in dragon riding.While most islands of the archipelago had become accustomed to living in peace with dragons as if they are similar to any other wild animal, Yongen was the heart of dragon riding. Saddles were imported from the island, wing and dragon tooth repairs were done there. And most notably, the noble group of dragon riders that freed dragons from poachers, the Phantom Thieves led by Joker and his night fury.
