Skulking evil from the Dark Area was patiently awaiting an opening so that the reach of old powers might once again reign supreme among Digimon. And yet it would be in the depths of desire, in the empty Void that one girl's voice would be heard by the Great Ouroboros.. Because all it took was a pre-emptive strike, a catalyst to change fate's trajectory and herald a new age in the Digital World.

Summary
Set a year before Digimon Last Evolution Kizuna.
Digimon have begun to appear in the real world, frenzied and ready for violence. Now the Digidestined have a duty to subdue and return them to the Digital World, and a legion of new people with Digimon partners to teach. But after one fight, something is wrong. Instead of returning to a Digital Gate, the Digimon reverts to a corrupted DigiEgg, suddenly Digimon can't evolve normally and the Digimon appearing are more violent than usual. Digimon in the Digital World are getting their memories from before the digital world reboot back. And something is coming.
Koshiro takes center stage to research the strange phenomenon happening, as the other chosen ones come up with creative solutions to battle. It will take everything the Digidestined have got to get to the bottom of this, no holding back now.

The Digital World is in danger with the arrival of an artificial intelligence from an alternate dimension known as Love Machine. He begins eating Digimon, absorbing data, and causing havoc all throughout the Digital World. The DigiDestined are called back to the Digital World to stop him. Yet the more data Love Machine absorbs, the stronger he becomes, and the more he evolves. With the ability to copy any attacks used against him and getting more powerful by the moment, it seems as if the DigiDestined have finally run into an enemy they cannot defeat.
