Steve blinks. “What?”
Natasha rakes her gaze over him like she’s peeling back skin; like she can see something he doesn’t know how to hide. “You’re pretty calm about dying, Rogers,” she says. “What was it you said back there?”
“You get killed,” he hears himself say, “walk it off.”
“I’ve always been pretty calm about it. They told me that back in the Commandos too. Surely, you understand.” He’s read her file. He knows where she’s coming from.
“Death never comes naturally, Rogers.” She narrows her eyes. “Not even to me.”
“It helps me to pretend like it does.”
“Don’t you dare get used to it, Captain,” she tells him. “It won’t do you any favours. Trust me.”
Steve just nods. “I understand,” he lies.

Useless, a word disguised as a weapon, something that Izuku Midoriya didn't know until that stage of his life, since he was a child, he always dreamed of being a hero, saving everyone with a smile just like All Might. That dream was shattered when he learned that he didn't have a Quirk, from that moment his life took a nosedive, however, he never lost hope that even without a Quirk he could be a hero. But the irony of life takes us to such an extreme, where the person you admired so much and was your example to follow, destroys that vague hope of being a hero and in that instant when hope disappears, pain and shame leads us to the edge. An edge of no return.

The Honkai universe is in for another adventure when familiar foes make shocking decisions. This decision shoves Hamasaki Eikichi, a teenager that wants nothing more than to find his sister and uncover a sinister secret, into the post 2nd eruption world of honkai, mechs, and teenage girls fighting aliens. Of course, something as simple as finding a missing family would get him tossed into a weird world like this.
But who is he to complain? After all, it's family, and Eikichi Hamasaki is willing to do anything to find family. Even if it means going to an all-girls school, and hunting Demi-Humans.
At least, he hoped it would be as simple as he portrayed it to be. -
