“Here.” Taesoo gave James the first fried pieces of meat.It was bulgogi, thin slices of sirloin, marinated in a mixture of sugar, pepper, sesame oil, garlic, matsutake and soy sauce. The sugar added a sweet taste and James liked to eat it with the rice and kimchi that came as side dishes.
“Hey,” complained Gongseob, “I want some meat too.”
“Then take some and grill it yourself,” Taesoo replied, putting more bulgogi on James’ plate.
“Asshole!”
“I don’t fucking care.”
James chuckled. He felt warm and relaxed, watching the others fight for silly and petty reasons. [...] "What do you guys think about an alliance?"
"An alliance?" asked Jichang before emptying his glass.

Jaegyeon flashed a victorious smile to James Lee, and the latter now had a deadpan look on his face. “We’ll see about that, scumbag of Incheon”, he replied, confident in his abilities to make Seongji interested in him.
Basically, the first Gen kings as high schoolers and their quite boring life, that is until a new student comes along to annoy both Seongji and Jaegyeon, but mostly the latter.

Frowning, Taesoo leaned closer. Anyone else would have backed away from the tall man, but those mocking eyes looked at him challengingly. They sparkled, and, for a moment, Taesoo's broad outline was reflected in the iris and pupil, “You’re playing with fire, Mister Kang. I would never put a client at risk.”
