Years before the first Roman emperor took the title of Augustus and was known by the name Octavianous, he was a young man known as Gaius Julius Caesar, the only son of the dred dictator, Julius Caesar, and the grandson of the money lender, Gaius Octavius. Returning home after a long campaign fighting in the southern colonies alongside his lifelong friend Marcus Vipsanious Agrippa, Gaius is happy to return home a grown man. Matured and eager to start his political career, he is happy to return home to Rome.
Valeria is a young simple farm girl without a care in the world. All she knows of the world is limited to the small farming village she was born and raised in. One morning, chaos finds its way to Valeria’s village. A group of armed men pillaged the village. Valeria is captured by the men along with her brother, Darius, who are sold as slaves to the merchant, Magnus.
One night, Gaius, Agrippa, and Maecenas are looking for more servants to buy for various reasons. When Maecenous comes across Valeria he questions what the other two men think of her. Unknown to Gaius and Agrippa meeting this young woman would forever change their lives.-
