Summary
It is the responsibility of those gifted with powerful abilities to stand over the rest of society, to make sure every citizen knows their place. For Arlo, this is the belief that has been instilled in him since he was young, and one that he has upheld fanatically ever since the disastrous end of his mentor’s alternative system.
So when Wellston's rank one steps outside the hierarchy, concerning herself with trivial matters and in the company of the school’s lowest ranker, Arlo schemes to drag both into their rightful roles. His plan? To isolate the weakest link, the false cripple, and squeeze him out like a lemon.
