Thus, John was born, raised only by William until he was 6 years old, where Jane returned, only to discover that John was a cripple, despising him.
However, when John's ability awakened at age 12 and he became the King of New Boston, his mother reappeared, but John understood that his mother didn't care about him or his father, so he refused to fight her, and this led to tragedy.
John was hospitalized, his father murdered, and the culprit was freed because of his power.
